Miniart 1/35 Sd.Kfz.234/2 Puma Interior Kit (35414)

This article will tell you more about new Miniart 1/35 Sd.Kfz.234/2 Puma Interior Kit (35414). As you can guess from the name, here we get a bit more sophisticated version of the kit. Interior parts might be handy for some diorama ideas where you plan to show what is inside the vehicle. There is a review with "simpler" version already on the website, and this one is dedicated to only Interior Kit boxing. Overall design of the packaging is typical, so all frames are sealed into one plastic bag. Let's open them and take a closer look together.
By the way, here you can read review with the version without interior.

Watch this video-review where I will show all parts even closer.

First we are going to start with one of the biggest frames in the kit. Here you will find various bulkheads, two versions of the spare wheel and some other parts. Lower frame carries even smaller parts which will require due care.

Top section of the hull is molded on its own frame. Note that all hatches are molded separately.

Another two frames will bring you turret parts and some of the interior bits. Note that main gun has one-piece barrel and muzzle brake.

I also like how welding seams look out of the box. Separate hatches might be handy for some diorama ideas.

Suspension parts are molded on the separate frame. Whole assembly will take some time, but final result should be worth it.

Interior kit offers a chance to have nicely detailed engine. Moreover, Miniart also adds wiring suggestions in the assembly manual. I would recommend to follow them for even more impressive look.

Unlike top part, lower hull section should be glued out of separate panels. Flor panel features plenty of premolded details, which should add some fine look to the model.

Jerry cans can be picked for one of the marking options. It is cool to see them in the standard package. Each wheel should be assembled out of several sections.

In my opinion such design gives us nice features out of the box. Just take a look on tire wall details.

External panels for the hull come on the separate frame. Note also hatches design, as you can open them on your model.

Overall interior parts look great out of the box. Of course, it will be important to think through your painting strategy as some of those will be difficult to reach later.

Final frame is also full of interior parts. Here you will find seat sections and some of the cover panels.

PE parts will be used for different external features. For example, you will install them in between jerrycan halves. Star-like part should be used for the antennae.

Clear frame is packed into separate plastic bag. Overall molding quality looks great, but there are no masks included in the box.

Decals are printed in Cartograf, so quality looks great. Here you will find all necessary symbols for six marking options. You can check them all on the photo below.

Assembly manual is typical for this brand. You can check all pages in the video-review.

Interior Kit version of the new Puma should be already available for purchase. In my opinion it is a great choice for modelers who brave enough to go for such project. Amount of parts is really crazy, and whole build will take some time for sure. Moreover, I like that Miniart gives some detailing options, which you can replicate with metal wire. The only question I have now is which figurines can be combined with this vehicle. :D
