This review will tell you more about IBG Models 1/72 Semovente M41M da 90/53 (72131). Kit comes in small scale, but copies Italian SPG. Such set might be an interesting change from all those typical offerings we are used to see in small scale. Previous small scale kits from the same brand proved to be very detailed, so it is interesting to see what is hidden in this nice box. Overall packaging is typical for the brand, and all frames are packed into several bags. Let's open everything and take a closer look together.

We start with hull parts which are placed on two sprues. Note that some of them are finished as one-piece elements. Engine bay area has all hatches molded in.

Lower hull section is molded as one-piece too. Such design should make whole assembly easier and faster.

Drivetrain bogies are also not over-engineered and should be quick to get into the final state. Be sure to have the sharp brush for those parts though.

Small scale doesn't mean less parts as we get many things copied out of the box. As you can see, molding quality looks great here.

Tracks are molded together with roadwheels and such design should be easier to install and paint.

Another useful bonus - small unpainted PE parts. Yes, those things are very small, but final result should be worth it.

Decals are printed in Techmod, so you don't have to worry about any quality issues. You can see all marking options on the photo below.

New vehicle kit should be already available for purchase. In my opinion it is an interesting choice for modelers who would like to build something different. Moreover, quite cool to see how smart design makes whole assembly easier and faster. Yes, small scale might be not up to everyone taste, but final result should be quite impressive for this size.
