This review is dedicated to Special Hobby 1/72 F-84F Thunderstreak (SH72492). Fresh kit comes as new-tooled release from the famous Czech brand. In my opinion it will be interesting for modelers who would like to have their own copy of American jet in small scale. I somehow missed the initial release, so now we can fix that and take a look at all parts. Packaging is typical for this brand, so let's open it and start with the first frame.
By the way, here you can read review with another jet aircraft from the same brand.

Watch this video-review where I show all parts even closer.
Here you can see wing panels, tail fin and nose wheel well. Only one version of the tail fin will be used, so be sure to use the right version.
On the opposite side you can see that flaps and ailerons will serve as guiding elements. Note that leading edge doesn't serve the same purpose.
Cockpit base can be found on the next frame. Nose air intake should be glued out of for parts with 1g weight inside.
External equipment is placed on the separate frame. Be sure to carefully assemble those halves so that the joint will look smooth.
Fuselage halves come on the last grey plastic sprue. As you remember, we have tail fin molded separately, but here you can notice that nose section and top fuselage "spine" also come as one-piece parts.
Inside you will find guiding elements which will help you with assembly. External features look great for this scale.
Clear frame is as good as in the recent Special Hobby releases. You can open the canopy, but be sure to use the right parts.
Decals sheet is quite big because it fits all necessary symbols and stencils. Printing quality looks great, and I can guess that it was printed in Eduard. All marking options you can see on the photo below.
Assembly manual is typical for this brand. I show all pages in the video, so be sure to check them.
New Thunderstreak should be already available for purchase. In my opinion this kit has all the chances to become the best in its scale for the given aircraft type. All parts and details look great out of the box, and might be enough for standard build. Moreover, we might see some add-ons from CMK which will help you to get even more neat things in such scale. I think Special Hobby did a great job here, and this is definitely a kit to check out if you are fun of small scale aircraft. :)
Get this and other kits on official Special Hobby website.Pros
- Nice molding quality
