Special Hobby 1/72 SK-37 Viggen Trainer (SH72381)

This review is dedicated to Special Hobby 1/72 SK-37 Viggen Trainer (SH72381). Kit offers us a chance to build a two-seater version of the famous Swedish aircraft. In small scale it won't take a lot of space, but still should be interesting to look at. Packaging is typical for this brand, so all frames come in one plastic bag. Let's open them and take a closer look together.
By the way, here you can read review with single-seater version.

Watch this video where I show all parts closer.

We are going to start with top fuselage section. This part will be used for today's double-seater version, and it should help you avoid seams on top section.

Yes, there is also a single-seater part included, but it will go into your spare parts box. Here notable parts include engine nozzle sections.

Here we can see the lower panel and some of the tail section parts. Large landing gear legs are also hard to miss.

Each cockpit is molded separately. Air intake ducts should be glued out of two halves. Fuel tanks are also assembled out of two parts each.

Here we have quite tricky picture. From one side you can see one-piece air intakes, but from another there are two halves for the nose cone.

Next frame is filled with parts. Here you will find landing gear parts as well as some cockpit elements.

Lower wing panel can be found on the last frame. Note that mechanization is premolded, so there is not that much freedom with those parts.

Clear frame comes in the separate plastic bag. Molding quality looks great, and you can open cockpit on your model. Masks are not included, so you will have to buy them.

Decals sheet is not that big, but includes all necessary symbols for several markings. Printing quality looks great. Assembly manual is typical for this brand. I show all pages in the video-review.

Small Viggen should be already available for purchase. In my opinion it is an interesting choice for those who would like to build something special in small scale. Moreover, model offers a lot of features out of the box, so even standard build should look great. Keep in mind that CMK also provides wide choice of accessories for this aircraft. The only tricky thing is the two-piece nose cone and camouflage, but I think it is doable if you have some experience.
