This article is dedicated to Special Hobby 1/48 Grunau Baby IIB (SH48237). Title of this particular boxing is "German WWII Glider" and it pretty much sums up what you get in the box. We reviewed previous versions of this aircraft, which was quite nice in standard version, so it will be interesting to see what is inside this box. Overall packaging is typical for Special Hobby, and all frames come in one plastic bag. Let's open everything and take a closer look together.
By the way, here you can read review with another version of Baby glider.

Watch this video-review where I show all parts even closer.
In this video I show masks which should come handy with the kit.
First frame is dedicated to all parts needed for your model. Overall molding quality looks great, but be ready to glue together two large wing halves.
Fuselage halves should be easy to assemble, plus there are also guiding elements inside. The only thing that might be worth doing in advance - considering some cockpit details upgrade to make final result even more interesting.
On the photo above you can see quite handy set which will be sold separately. Those masks will be used not only on the aircraft surfaces, but also on clear part as well.
Yes, there is one clear part included, and molding quality looks great. Thin attachment point won't be difficult to cut through.
Decals sheet is not that big, but carries all necessary symbols for several markings. Printing quality looks great out of the box. Assembly manual is typical for Special Hobby, I show all pages in the video-review.
New glider should be already available for purchase. In my opinion it is a decent choice for modelers who would like to build something different from all those typical subjects we are used to see in the given scale. Overall quality looks great, but some things might be tricky for beginners as for example you will have to copy control lines. Of course, it is a good idea to buy masks set as it will help a lot with getting more precise paintwork on your model.
