ICM 1/48 OV-10A Bronco Marine Corps (48305)

This article is dedicated to ICM 1/48 OV-10A Bronco Marine Corps (48305). Aircraft might be familiar to you as it came out in several versions, all of them we reviewed. As you can see on the main photo, ne boxing comes with Marine Corps markings. All other things are the same, including packaging. There are 245 parts which should assemble into a model with 254mm wingspan. Let's open this nice box and check everything together.
By the way, here you can read review with the same aircraft in US NAVY markings.

We are going to start with wing parts. Here you will find nice external features, which should look great after careful painting.

Wing mechanization is separate, what might come handy for some build ideas. Note also small parts, those should be handled with care.

I like the fact that ICM includes additional armament in the standard package. Such thing will come handy for your Bronco, and there will be some spare parts left.

Each of sponsons assembled out of two halves. Inside you will find guiding pins for easier alignment.

Another pair comes on the second sprue. Here you can also see some of the additional missiles.

Note that more additional parts like fuel tank come on the next frame. Standard cockpit looks great, but I would recommend to get aftermarket PE for fine features in your project.

Fuselage parts division might look unusual as there are three parts to combine together. Nevertheless, such design will be easier to work with.

Those narrow lower panels will be used for both sponsons.

Clear frame comes in the separate plastic bag. Molding quality looks great, and you can even try to open one of the sections. Assembly manual also features masks template for those.

Decals sheet is not that big, but carries all necessary symbols for several options. There are even some cockpit decals. You can see all marking options on the photo below.

Assembly manual is typical for this brand. I show all pages in the video-review.

New Bronco should be already available for purchase. In my opinion it is a decent choice for modelers who wanted to copy Marine Corps aircraft. It still carries a lot of external equipment and overall design look great. As far as I know, there is also some aftermarket available, which you can pick for more details in your model. Keep in mind that such model is more for experienced modelers, who would like to have this aircraft in their collection.
