ICM 1/48 OV-10A Bronco US NAVY (48304)

This review is dedicated to ICM 1/48 OV-10A Bronco US NAVY (48304). Kit continues series of nice aircraft models from the famous Ukrainian brand. In one box you will get a great model together with some interesting markings. Packaging is typical - all frames are packed into several bags. There are 242 parts which should assemble into a model with 254mm wingspan. Let's open them and take a closer look together.

We are going to start with armament sprue. This one comes in two pieces and carries all necessary items for different loadouts.

Bronco is a twin-engine aircraft, so there are two frames with engine gondolas and landing gear parts.

Cockpit floor can be found on the next frame. I would recommend to get aftermarket PE for more features in the cabin.

Tail booms should be glued out of several panels. There are guiding pins inside which should help you with alignment.

Both fuselage halves are molded on the next frame, here you will also see the lower panel. External features look fine, but might require due care.

Wing parts can be found on the last sprue. Wing mechanization is molded separately, what might be handy for some build ideas.

Clear frame is packed into separate plastic bag. Molding quality looks great, and there is a masks template in the manual.

Both decals sheets are not that big, but you will find all necessary symbols for four markings. All of them can be seen on the photo below.

Assembly manual is typical for ICM. I show all pages in the video-review.

New Bronco edition should be already available for purchase. In my opinion it is an interesting choice for those who were waiting for US NAVY markings. We still get a good kit together with nice decals and even masks templates. Moreover, there is a big potential for adding more features here and there, as they will be noticeable in such scale. I would rather say that such model is better for experienced modelers who would know how to work with twin engine design.
