ICM 1/48 OV-10A Bronco (48300)

This time we will check ICM 1/48 OV-10A Bronco (48300). Kit comes as completely new release from the famous brand. Such model should be interesting to build and can be fine detailed even out of the box. Well, I got final version of this release and it will be interesting to see what is actually included inside. Let's open this box and take a closer look together.
By the way, here you can read review with car kit from the same brand.

Watch this video-review where I show all parts closer.

We are going to start with two small parts which will be handy for both tail sections.

As for the sections themselves, they should be glued out of several halves. Note that both are molded together with tail fin.

There are guiding elements inside, so it should be relatively easy to combine those parts together.

Wing will be assembled out of separate halves. Well, overall design is quite tricky, so be careful with alignment of the parts.

Nose section should be glued out of several parts. It is interesting to see bottom panel as the separate element.

Cockpit panels can be seen on this sprue. Molding quality looks great and there is nothing to complain about.

ICM was generous to include two frames of this type. Here you will find various armament as well as some minor elements for aircraft.

This sprue also comes in two. Landing gear wheels look fine, but I am sure that we will see some resin upgrade for these parts.

Canopy parts come in the separate plastic bag. Molding quality looks fine and there is masking guide in the assembly manual.

There are two decals sheets in the kit. Both come in nice quality and feature some decals for the cockpit.

Assembly manual is typical for this brand. I show all pages in the video-review.

New Bronco should be already available for purchase. In one box you will get quite detailed kit which would look great in the finished state. In my opinion this is not a kit for beginners, so I would rather recommend it to experienced modelers. Moreover, twin-engine design will require due care, so don't expect a weekend project. I am also sure that we will see some aftermarket for this kit, and it would make whole model even more realistic.
