ICM 1/32 Normandie-Niemen Roland de la Poype (32093)

Today we are going to check ICM 1/32 Normandie-Niemen Roland de la Poype (32093). Kit comes as combo-set in large scale. Moreover, it continues series of releases which are dedicated to the famous Normandie-Niemen on Yak-9. Aircraft kit is relatively new, and you can expect a lot of features out of the box. Packaging is typical, so all frames come in one bag. There are 171 parts for aircraft assembly and 6 parts for one pilot figurine. Let's open them and take a closer look together.
By the way, here you can read review with previous release in this series.

Watch this video where I show parts even closer.

We are going to start with fuselage halves. Both are molded with tail fin, but without top cowling cover. External details look good for this scale.

Next we see mix of various parts. You will find lower section of the fuselage as well as one-piece propeller and some engine parts.

Cockpit elements come on the next sprue. Out of the box you will get a lot of features, but it might be a good idea to invest into some aftermarket PE for even better look. :)

Don't be fooled by the scale - some parts will require tweezers in order to be installed in place. Overall molding quality looks great.

Pilot figure is exclusive for this set. Sculpting looks great and all features are quite pronounced.

Wing parts are quite large and come on the last frame. Note that flaps are premolded, while ailerons are separate here.

Clear frame comes in the separate plastic bag. Molding quality looks great and you will find masking templates in the assembly manual.

Decals sheet carries all symbols for one marking option. Printing quality looks fine. Assembly manual is typical for this brand, and you can check all pages in the video-review.

New kit should be already available. In my opinion it might be interesting for modelers who would like to copy this particular marking. Yes, you can use this plastic for some aftermarket decals, but then whole idea of the release won't be handy. Here we get all things focused on one aircraft, and even pilot will help to support this idea. Nevertheless, you still can get some aftermarket PE for even more features, as in 1/32 scale it will be a worthy thing to add. :)
