ICM 1/32 DH.82A with Bombs (32038)

This time we are going to take a look at ICM 1/32 D.H.82A with Bombs (32038). Kit comes as yet another version of the famous British training biplane. It is still molded in large scale and should be fun to build. As you can guess from the name, new release gives us a chance to install bombs on the aircraft. There are 149 parts which should assemble into a model with 280mm wingspan. Packaging is typical for this brand, so all frames come in one plastic bag. Let's open them and take a closer look together.
By the way, here you can read review with one of the previous versions.

Watch this video-review where I show all parts even closer.

We are going to start with fuselage halves. Both are molded without tail fin and cowling. Note that each side of the lower wing should be glued out of two halves.

Inside you will find guiding pins and some minor cockpit features.

Next frame is dedicated to landing gear and struts. Overall design looks smart and parts have guiding elements to assist in installation.

The same can be said about these large wing halves. I also like how the fabric surface is copied here.

There is one more frame, and it comes in pair. You will find bombs with attachments here. Those should be installed under the fuselage.

Clear frame comes in the separate plastic bag. Molding quality looks nice and kit features masks template for this.

Decals sheet is not that big, but includes all necessary symbols for three markings. Printing quality looks fine in my opinion. You can see profiles on the photo below.

Assembly manual is typical for this brand. I show all pages in the video-review.

New DH.82A should be already available for purchase. In my opinion it is as good as the previous versions, and model should be fun to build. Moreover, it is nice that ICM didn't go crazy with the parts count, as such design will be easier to work with. I would also recommend to look at aftermarket accessories, because those will be noticeable once you get them on the model.
