ICM 1/35 G7107 (35598)

This article is dedicated to ICM 1/35 G7107 (35598). As you remember, Ukrainian manufacturer released its own trucks line relatively recently, and this model actually continues the series. We are offered a chance to build a civil version which can be painted in quite bright colors. Moreover, it also features several assembly options, and those will come handy for various diorama ideas. There are 263 parts which should assemble into a model with 164mm length. Packaging is typical for this brand, whole box come with seals on four sides. Let's cut them and check all the parts inside.
By the way, here you can read review with another truck in the same scale.

We are going to start with large frame where you will find front cab parts. Doors and bonnet are separate, so you can try to open them on your model.

Next we see suspension parts, several panels for the rear bed and chassis bars. Everything here looks fine, it is just a matter of careful separation off the frame.

I have to note that this model will have quite detailed engine, so should be worth adding a bit of wiring and maybe weathering as well.

One of the markings features the covered rear section. Yes, you will have to glue it out of separate panels, so it is important to get smooth connection between those.

Last sprue is given in two pieces. Here you will find supporting frames for the rear section as well as roadwheels. It is actually good to have wheels in plastic as such parts will look a bit more convincing.

Clear frame is packed into separate plastic bag. Molding quality looks fine, and all those parts will go for the front cab.

Decals sheet is not that big, but carries all necessary signs for four markings. Printing quality looks fine and you can see all marking options on the photo below.

Assembly manual is typical for this brand. You can check all pages in the video-review.

Today's kit comes as a quite interesting alternative to all those military vehicles which we are used to see on the market. For reasonable price you will get a nice plastic with really good features which can be exposed on the finished build. Moreover, there is plenty of space for some additional scratchbuilding or maybe even creating a diorama with it. It would be cool to get at least driver figure in the standard package, but you will have to get them as the separate thing.
