Miniart 1/35 M3 Lee Australian (35287)

Today we are going to check Miniart 1/35 M3 Lee Australian (35287). This is a different version of the well-known tank in the popular scale. Moreover, it comes as Interior Kit what might be handy for some modelers. Packaging is typical here, all parts come in two bags. Let's open this nice box and take a careful look at all these sprues.

We are going to start with large frame which carries hull panels. These should be easy to align together, just don't forget to dry fit them before gluing into the place.

Engine parts can be found on the next sprue. This is a fully-detailed radial powerplant, so definitely think on how to expose it in your model.

Here we see quite impressive amount of small parts. Drive sprockets and road wheels should be glued out of two elements. There are guiding pins inside for easier alignment.

Just like any other M3, this model will demand some time to assemble the suspension. Don't hurry here and take your time.

Stowage boxes and pioneer tools come on the next frames. Molding quality looks fine, but thin parts will require due care.

Here you can take a look at side armor panels and rear wall with separate doors.

Interior is very detailed here, and some parts are really tiny. Moreover, you will have to think through all the painting steps before assembling everything together.

Parts count might look overwhelming for some, so try not to lose any of these parts.

Turret is molded as single-piece part, what should make assembly easier and quicker.

Last grey frames feature parts for tracks. This is another tedious procedure, but your model would benefit from such add-on.

Clear parts look great, but there are no mask templates included. Decals sheet is printed in Decograph.

Separate envelope carries unpainted PE fret. Parts here will be used for internal and external features on your tank model.

New M3 comes as nice addition to tank kits line from Miniart. It comes in popular scale, features full interior and therefore might be a great choice for diorama builders. Yes, this is definitely not a model for beginner, but with some due experience you will be able to get a nice result. Moreover, interior features will give you even more build opportunities and maybe even encourage to add some figures. :)
