Eduard 1/72 Avia CS-199 Profipack (70153)

This time we are going to talk about Eduard 1/72 Avia CS-199 Profipack (70153). As you can guess from the name, kit copies Czech aircraft in small scale. Moreover, this is a two-seater version which should look interesting in finished state. Set comes as Profipack, so it is safe to expect all necessary extras inside. Moreover, there are six markings included, so you will have a good choice. Packaging is typical for Eduard, let's open it and take a closer look at parts.

We are going to start with wing parts. Overall design is typical - two top panels and one lower part. All wing mechanization elements are molded separately.

On the next frame we can see mix of various parts. As you can guess, this model won't need single-seater cockpit floor. Nevertheless, landing gear and some other parts are still suitable. Note that you can also replace them with original Brassin accessories.

Last grey plastic sprue carries new parts necessary for double-seater version. Eduard did a great work here and those fuselage halves look great. This is a 1/72 scale aircraft, so model size is quite small and it will require some due care during assembly.

Clear frame is packed into separate plastic bag. Molding quality looks great and you can see masks sheet on the photo below.

PE fret is another typical Eduard bonus. You will find both internal and external parts there.

Two decals sheets are printed in Eduard, so there is no need to worry about quality issues. All markings can be seen on the photo below.

Assembly manual is typical for this brand. I show all pages in the video-review.

New kit should be already available for purchase. In my opinion it is a great choice for those who would like to build something in a small scale. Moreover, we get model as Profipack, so you can expect all necessary items out of the box. Such package might be a great experience even for beginners if they are ready to work with small parts. Another advantage is a huge choice of original accessories which can make tiny CS-199 even more impressive.
