Tamiya 1/12 Honda CB750F (06)

Today we are going to talk about Tamiya 1/12 Honda CB750F (06). I would say this is a classic model from Japanese brand, and now we have a chance to take a closer look together. Such kit might be a great choice for beginners, who would like to try their hands on something relatively simple and accessible. Moreover, price tag is not that high even considering the fact that this is not a new model.
By the way, here you can read review with another bike kit from Tamiya.

Watch this video-review where I show all parts closer.

We are going to start with black frame here. Parts are quite large, so it should be easy to work with them.

Next photo shows you the second frame with frame bars and wheel fenders. Note that chain is molded together with sprockets.

Fuel tank is separated into two halves, so be ready for some sanding in order to get a smooth joint. There are some guiding elements inside which should help you with that.

Grey sprue comes with engine parts. Just like any other Tamiya bike kit, this one features nice engine, so it is just a matter of careful assembly and painting.

I am not sure about chromed parts. They look more or less okay, but there is still some "toy feel" to them. Experienced modelers will strip and repaint all those elements.

Clear parts look fine and should be easy to work with. There are no masks included here.

Vinyl parts include tires and pipes for brake cables. There are also some screws for the assembly process.

Decals sheet looks ok, a bit on thick side, but still should be fine. On the photo below you can see some of the marking options.

Assembly manuals are typical for this brand. You can check all pages in the video-review.

Today's set should be already available for purchase. In one box you will get a nice model which might be interesting for beginners. This is a good thing to try for the first time, especially if you don't have any experience with bike models. Moreover, I think today's Honda has great potential for superdetailing and customizing its appearance. In other words, it should be interesting for experienced modelers as well.
THANK YOU FOR DONATIONS WHICH MADE THIS REVIEW REAL!
