Miniart 1/35 Fruit Delivery Van Typ 170V Lieferwagen (38044)

Today we are going to talk about Miniart 1/35 Fruit Delivery Van Typ 170V Lieferwagen (38044). This is yet another version of the civil car from the famous brand. As you can guess from the name, one box brings van together with fruits in boxes. Such package should come handy for a diorama project in the popular scale. Packaging is typical here, and all frames come sealed in the plastic bag. Let's open it and take a closer look together.
By the way, here you can read review with civil truck from the same brand.

Well, let's start with fruits. These might look familiar to you as they were released in separate sets before.

Miniart also included boxes for these fruits, but you don't have to use all at once. This is a good addition for diorama, so it might be wise to keep one aside. :)

Don't worry - there are also "separate" fruits, so you can place them around your car. One can even place something on the front seat.

Note that even tomatoes are given in one piece. I wonder how to get the realistic paintwork on those... :D

Next we move to car parts. These are two connections between several frames. Manufacturer placed here mix of various parts. Seats should be easy to work with.

I like the plastic wheels here. Such element should be easy to work with and you won't have any issues painting and weathering it.

Main chassis comes as single-piece part. Note that this floor panel will stay in your spare parts box as van version needs the new part displayed below.

Van parts division is quite straightforward, so you won't have any issues here. There are some guiding elements inside, and they will help you with alignment.

As you can guess, only front doors will be needed for the vehicle assembly. They can be positioned open on your model. Car also features detailed engine, so it might be worth thinking on how to expose it on the finished model.

Clear frame comes in the separate plastic bag. Molding quality looks great, but there are no masks or masking templates.

PE fret comes in the separate envelope. It is great to see front grille replicated with this metal part.

Decals sheet is not that big, but you will get all necessary symbols for several markings. Assembly manual is typical for Miniart and I show all pages in the video-review.

New van should be already available for purchase and it might be a good build project. I would suggest it to modelers who would like to take a break from all those military models and work on something different. Add some figures to this build and you will get nice diorama scene with unusual car in the main role. Moreover, it might be a good idea to search for some alternative markings so that you can build another marking in 1/35 scale.
