This time we have a chance to check Miniart 1/35 Pz.Kpfw.IV Ausf.H (35337). Kit comes as yet another version of the famous German tank molded in popular scale. Note that today's release is a version without interior. Such kit might be interesting for modelers who would like to focus on external features instead of interior and all connected things. Of course, price tag is also a bit smaller here. Packaging is typical, all frames come in one plastic bag. Let's open it and take a closer look together.
By the way, here you can read review with unusual vehicle from the same brand.

Watch this video-review where I show all parts even closer.
We are going to start with the frame which is dedicated to the turret parts. Those separate panels should be easy to combine together.
Lower hull section is also built from several panels. That is something you can't avoid due to boxy design of the tank. Note that all hatches are molded separately and can be assembled in open position.
Next frames bring us various pioneer tools and drivetrain parts. Molding quality looks great, note that clamps are premolded with tools.
Side shelves look fine and should be easy to work with. The same can be said about front armor panel and machine gun.
Be ready to spend some time building all the tracks. Miniart supplies us with detailed plastic parts, but they will require a bit of patience. :)
Here you can take a look at roadwheels and suspension from both sides. Note that there is no painting template for wheels.
Kit is full of small parts, so be ready to work with necessary tools. Moreover, be careful with thin parts.
External armor on the turret will be copied with plastic parts. Note that main gun would have some details inside as well.
Hull parts look great, there are all necessary guiding elements inside.
Miniart also supplies several types of muzzle breaks for the main barrel. Note that these elements come as single-piece parts.
Clear frame is packed together with decals sheet. As usual, there are no masks for these parts.
Yes, even though this kit doesn't feature interior, we still get three PE frets which should add even more features. Keep in mind that external armor can be replicated only with these panels.
Today's kit features four marking options which should be interesting to replicate. By the way, I show all pages of the assembly manual in the video-review.
New kit should be already available for purchase. In my opinion this tank comes as a bit more accessible option for those who would like to build their own copy. As I said in the beginning, this kit will let modeler focus on external features, so it might be a bit easier experience. Moreover, I know some guys who get overwhelmed when they see a lot of parts in the box. Well, I wouldn't say parts count is small here, but it is definitely smaller than interior release. :D
