ICM 1/35 Wehrmacht Offroad Vehicles (DS3503)

This time we are going to check ICM 1/35 Wehrmacht Offroad Vehicles (DS3503). As you can guess from its name, one kit features several models. All three are molded in 1/35 scale and should be handy for some diorama project. We've seen such releases from ICM with way bigger models, so now it is also interesting to see what is included. In this nice box you will find 207+211+205 parts for assembly of three different vehicles. Packaging is typical, each set comes in its own plastic bag. Let's open them and take a closer look.

We are going to start with grey sprues which should be used for L1500A. On the photo above you can see various mechanical parts for suspension, engine and mainframe.

Body panels come as large parts, so be sure to check the alignment. Moreover, it is nice to see separately molded doors here.

Front grille features premolded Mercedes logo which should be easy to pick out with drybrushing method. Note also parts for the folded roof.

Next vehicle is a Horch 108 Typ 40 in 1/35 scale. Here you will find slightly smaller car, but it is still nicely detailed inside and outside. On the photo above you can check suspension and engine parts.

Be careful with thin parts, some of them can be replaced with metal wire.

Yes, you will have to deal with vinyl tires here, so be ready to work with such parts. Well, at least wheel rims will be easy to paint.

This kit also features separate doors which can be opened in your build. Note that car comes in open version, just like previous kit.

Third kit in today's set is le.gl Einheitz-Pkw (Kfz.1) - German personnel car. By the way, we also have a build-report with this kit and you can find it easily on the website. Photo above shows various parts for external elemetns.

This kit features plastic wheels, so it should be easier to paint and weather those. Of course, doors are separate here.

Another expected thing - open roof. Note that engine is supplied here, but bonnet will require some scratch-building in case you would like to expose what is inside.

Clear frame are packed into separate plastic bag in order to avoid possible scratches. Of course, there are no masks included. Decals look ok and should be easy to work with.

Assembly manuals are typical for this brand. I show all pages in the video-review.

Today's release should be already available for purchase. In one box you will get several kits, what is really interesting feature for fans of this scale. Moreover, all three vehicles should look good in the finished state. Of course, you don't have to build them all at once, some of them can stay for the future projects. There is also some space for scratch-building if you would like to add more features in your model. :)
