This review will tell you more about HGW 1/48 Fw 190D-9 Tamiya Basic Line (148801). While whole set is not exactly new, it is still handy for your aircraft build. I am now working on Fw 190D-9 from Miniart, and decided to see if the whole set would be "compatible". As you can notice, the packaging is slightly different from typical textile belts from HGW because it also includes pre-cut masks. Two things will definitely make a visible difference on your build, so let's open them and take a closer look together.

We are going to start with pre-cut masks. Those feature sections not only for external, but also for internal paintwork as well as several types of the canopy.
Seatbelts come in already classic design, so on the PE fret you will find various buckles which should be combined with textile sections shown on the photo below.
Assembly process might be a bit tricky for older modelers, but final result should be worth it. Those items definitely look more realistic in comparison with decals or PE.
Assembly manual is typical for this brand. I would also recommend to have some reference photos, so that you know what to do. Overall quality of the set is great, and in my opinion it is a quite effective way to make your model a bit more realistic. Moreover, assembly won't take a lot of time, just be sure to have the right types of tweezers. :)
