Takom 1/35 ZRY222 (2223)

This time I am going to tell you more about Takom 1/35 ZRY222 (2223). Yes, this time plastic kit copies unmanned vehicles - one tracked and several moving by legs. Such a change of topic might be interesting for modelers who would like to build something different. Moreover, they are molded in popular scale, so you can use them for some diorama ideas too. Overall packaging is typical here, each frame is packed into separate bag. Let's open them all and take a closer look together.
By the way, here you can read review with another modern vehicle.

First frame will come handy for a tracked vehicle in this release. Here you will find track sections as well as roadwheels and drive sprockets.

Turret should be glued out of several panels. As you remember, this is unmanned vehicle, so there are no hatches or anything of this sense.

Hull parts can be found on the next sprue. Suspension arms are premolded on the sidewalls, what might be handy for a proper alignment on your model.

Each "wolf" robot can be assembled in several versions - there is even a transport position included. Those will take some time, but final result should be worth it.

Clear frame comes in the separate plastic bag. Molding quality looks great, but there are no masks included.

Unpainted PE fret will be useful for some fine features on the model. Assembly manual is typical for Takom, and you can check all pages in the video-review.

New combo-set should be already available for purchase. In my opinion it is a great choice for modelers who would like to get something different from the common topics. Overall quality looks great, and you just need to decide on the marking option. It is a shame not to see decals included here, but I guess you can source something from your own collection. :)
Thank you for your help in getting this kit!

Pros

  • Nice molding quality
  • Clever parts division
