In this article you will read more about I Love Kit 1/35 M1280 LMTV with M1101 Tactical Trailer (63568). New combo-set comes in popular scale and lets you build a vehicle with a trailer attached in the back. Such a thing might be useful for some diorama ideas and also for the solo-build as well. I haven't reviewed any of the previous releases for this brand, so it will be interesting to see what is inside. Overall packaging is traditional - each frame is sealed into separate plastic bag. All one-piece elements are separated into special compartment in order to avoid unnecessary damage. Let's open them all and take a closer look together.
By the way, here you can read review with a smaller version of M1280.

Watch this video where I show all parts even closer.
Floor panel is molded as one-piece and features good surface details straight out of the box. There are some push marks from the opposite side, but they will be closed by armor panels.
Trailer tarpauline cover comes as single part too. Such design should be easier and faster to install. Moreover, surface details are not affected by this molding decision.
Next we see shell which is molded without doors, but with the roof hatch. I am not sure why parts division was done this way as top opening could be handy for showing what is inside.
Next we see separate doors and subframes. Such design should be handy for some diorama ideas.
Interior is also quite detailed here, so when you open the door, there will be something to show inside. Just be sure to plan all paintwork in advance.
Trailer is separated into several panels, but it won't be difficult to get them together. Surface features look great straight out of the box.
Tent frames are molded separately. They look great, but will require careful installation.
Armor shields are molded separately, as such design will make installation easier. Note that interior door sections are also separate parts.
LMTV rear bed comes as one-piece element, and such design should speed up assembly. The only thing to do is to check the alignment of this part with hull.
Bonnet is also single part, and some modelers would be happy to get such design. Wheel fenders are molded separately, but should be easy to install.
Yes, kit features vinyl tires, but those are surprisingly good for standard offering. I think you can also find aftermarket resin if you want a bit more convincing look.
Unpainted PE fret should be useful for some fine features on the model.
Clear frame comes in the separate plastic bag. Molding quality looks great, and there are masks included, you can see them on the photo below.
Decals sheet is not that big, but you will find all necessary symbols for one marking option. Marking guide is printed in color. For more options I would recommend to get some reference photos.
It is quite strange to see only one option in such kit, so I would recommend to find something different.
Assembly manual is black-and-white. You can check all pages in the video-review.
New truck should be already available for purchase. In my opinion it is a great combo-set which has all necessary things in one box. Assembly won't be too difficult, and with some figurines whole set can turn into a nice diorama. I also like how the standard package features a lot of assembly options, which will definitely come in handy.
