This time we are going to talk about ICM 1/35 KAMAZ-4310 Ukrainian Military Box Truck (35004). As you can guess, plastic copies famous 6X6 truck in popular scale. Moreover, this is a box version, so rear section can be used for some diorama ideas. Overall packaging is classic for this brand, so all parts come in one plastic bag. There are 363 parts which should assemble into a model with 228mm length. Let's open them all and take a closer look together.
By the way, here you can read build-review with KAMAZ.

Watch this video-review where I show all parts even closer.
First frame is dedicated to front cab parts which come as separate panels. Overall design looks nice, just be sure to check the alignment of those elements together. Separate doors will also come handy for diorama builders.
Chassis assembly will take some time for sure. ICM copied a lot of things, so pay attention on what should be prepainted before the installation.
Even exhaust will be glued out of several parts. There are also a lot of thin elements, so be careful while separating and installing those.
Wheel rims come on several frames. Overall details look nice, and you can paint those parts before installing into tires.
Rear mudguards have nice surface details, be sure to bring those out with weathering.
Stowage boxes and jerry cans come on the separate frame. Large bracket will be useful for the spare wheel placement.
Rear box should be glued out of several panels. All doors are separate, but there is nothing to show inside as assembly will be empty.
Vinyl tires look fine for standard build. For something more sophisticated I would recommend to get resin aftermarket in the same scale.
Kit features two clear frames. On the first one you get windows for the rear box section.
Second one is dedicated to front cab and lights. Be ready to cut out masks for those as there are none included in the kit.
Decals come on two sheets. Printing quality looks great, and digital camouflage in this form might be easier to work with. You can see both marking options on the photo below.
Assembly manual is typical for this brand. I show all pages in the video-review.
In my opinion this KAMAZ from ICM looks great even in the standard form. I included the build-review link in the beginning, so you can see what can be assembled with help of this nice plastic. Such package can be attractive even for beginners, while professionals still have some space to add more with aftermarket and scratch-building. I like the overall quality and hope that we will see more versions in the future.
