Nunu Models 1/24 Honda Civic EF9 (PN24021)

This article will tell you more about Nunu Models 1/24 Honda Civic EF9 (PN24021). Kit comes in popular scale and gives you a chance to copy Japanese racecar in a quite colorful marking. This is not a new plastic as it came out quite some time ago, but it still should be interesting to check together. Moreover, this marking option looks unusual and can be fun to replicate. Overall packaging is typical for the brand, so all frames are packed into separate bags. Let's open them all and take a closer look together.
By the way, here you can read review with another racecar in the same scale.

Watch this video-review where I show all parts even closer.

I would like to start with car body shell which is molded as one-piece here. Yes, doors are premolded and you won't be able to open them unless you would like to do some additional modifications.

Overall it looks like a nicely-shaped part. Separate bonnet can be useful for some modelers, but keep in mind that there is no engine included here.

Bottom panel is two-layered as interior floor is separate. There are a lot of premolded details, so be sure to pick them out. Note that dashboard is molded together with pedals here.

Doorcards look simple just like on real car. Brake rotors might require some drilling in order to look better. Rollcage bars are molded separately and will have to be glued together.

White wheel rims are good as such color will be easier to paint over. There are two sizes supplied, just like on the real car.

Front and rear bumpers come as separate parts. Note also special air intakes which will be installed under the front bumper.

Clear parts come on two frames. Overall molding quality looks fine, but some of them will have to be airbrushed with color clear.

I am not mentioning masks as window seals will be replicated with decals here. Such approach should be more beginner-friendly.

Vinyl tires is something you won't be able to avoid here. Small mesh should come handy for the front air intake.

Chrome parts look fine and should be useful for a more realistic headlights and taillights.

Decals come on three sheets. First one is dedicated to the colorful main layer which is divided into several sections.

All logos, numbers and even seatbelts come on the second decals sheet. As it was mentioned, third one is dedicated to window seals.

Some information about the kit is printed on the side of the box.

Assembly manual is typical for this brand. I show all pages in the video-review.

Small Honda kit should be already available for purchase. In my opinion it is an interesting choice for modelers who would like to have Civic in their collection. Out of the box you will get all necessary things. It might be also a good idea to find more reference photos in order to understand what else you can add here. Whole kit looks like a good choice for beginners too as the design is not overcomplicated with some unnecessary things.
THANK YOU FOR YOUR DONATIONS WHICH MADE THIS REVIEW POSSIBLE!
