In this article I am going to tell you more about Miniart 1/35 Austin Armoured Car 1918 Pattern Dunsterforce (39023). New version comes as traditional Interior Kit with all the necessary parts to make even more sophisticated models. I reviewed the previous releases and they were quite nice straight out of the box. Now it is interesting to see what is offered in this one. Overall packaging is typical for the brand, so all frames are sealed into one plastic bag. Let's open them together and take a closer look.
By the way, here you can read review with another version of this famous vehicle.

Here is the small note about Dunsterforce if you wonder:
Dunsterforce, officially the British Military Mission to the Caucasus, was a unique and daring British military force formed during the First World War.
Named after its commander, Major-General Lionel Dunsterville, it was a relatively small unit composed of hand-picked officers and non-commissioned officers.
Watch this video where I show all parts even closer.
On the first photo you can see hull parts as well as some external elements. Overall design is quite simple - combine all those panels together and you will get an armor shell to put on top of chassis.
Each turret should be assembled out of several parts. It might be worth showing internals of at least one of them.
Of course, all hatches are molded separately, so you can open whichever you would need on your model.
Side armor panels also feature separate hatches and door. This is a useful thing for showing what is inside the vehicle.
Don't be scared by thin parts, they can be replaced with metal wire if you would like to. Plastic wheel rims can be painted separately and then combined with tires.
Engine is also here as well as quite detailed suspension. The only question is how to show all those items without opening all of the possible hatches on the vehicle. :)
Plastic tires come in the separate plastic bag. They have nice tire pattern and even some features on the tire walls.
Clear frame is packed separately, so it arrives in perfect condition. Molding quality looks great, but there are no masks for those parts.
PE fret comes in its own envelope. This is a typical unpainted fret which carries parts for external and internal features.
Decals are printed in Cartograf, so overall quality looks great. You can check all three markings on the photo below.
Assembly manual is typical for Miniart. I show all pages in the video-review.
New car set should be already available for purchase. In my opinion it is a great choice for experienced modelers who would like to assemble something from World War 1. Moreover, interior features open more possibilities for various diorama ideas and it is always impressive to see such thing in 1/35 scale. You should be ready to do some tedious operations, for example, application of rivets on the hull, but it should be worth it. Moreover, there are no rivals on the market which are able to offer the same level of details.
