Arma Hobby 1/72 P-51B Mustang Deluxe Set (70069)

This review is fully dedicated to Arma Hobby 1/72 P-51B Mustang Deluxe Set (70069). The name hints that we will get not one, but two kits in one box. Moreover, on the front side you will notice the sign about 3D printed parts included for both models. It sounds quite good for a standard package, so I decided to take a closer look. Overall boxing and how parts are supplied is typical for this brand. Let's open one set of parts and check them together.

First frame is dedicated to fuselage halves and wing halves. Note that flaps and tail fin are molded separately. Yes, unfortunately top cover for the cowling is premolded with each fuselage part.

Inside you will find simple structural features as well as some minor premolded items. Overall it looks great and should be enhanced with help of decals from the kit.

Next frame brings several types of fuel tanks, landing gear parts and flaps. Molding quality looks great on even smallest parts, so you just need to carefully assemble them together.

3D Printed parts come hidden in the special cardboard corner. As you can see, both aircraft will get pilot seats and exhaust stacks. Printing quality looks great here.

Clear frame is packed into a separate plastic bag in order to avoid possible scratches. All parts look great and of course you can copy the open version on your model.

Masks are included as standard bonus. Those are pre-cut and should be used not only with the canopy, but also with landing gear wheels.

Decals are printed in Techmod, so you don't have to worry about printing quality. There is some segmentation as well as decals for the cockpit. You can check all markings on the photo below.

Assembly manual is typical for this brand. You can check all pages in the video-review.

New combo-set should be already available for purchase. In my opinion it is a great choice for modelers who would like to have this famous aircraft in their collection. Moreover, you get all necessary things in the standard package, so I am not sure why you would look at aftermarket. In the video-review I also show one additional surprise from the manufacturer, so be sure to watch it carefully. :)
