This review is fully dedicated to ICM 1/48 WWII Japanese Pilots and Ground Personnel (48053). The same brand already released several different aircraft kits in the same scale, so now it is a turn of figures to match. Those five guys might come handy for a diorama scene, and also to show the size of the aircraft. Packaging is typical - white cardboard box under color-printed cover. There are 38 parts for assembly of five figures. Let's open them and take a closer look together.
By the way, here you can read review with 1/48 Sally aircraft.

Watch this video where I show all parts even closer.
We are going to start with one and only sprue in this kit. Overall parts design is similar to what we would expect from 1/35 scale kit. As you can see, legs, hands and heads are molded separately from the bodies.
There are no guiding elements and also no alternative poses. Nevertheless, molding quality looks great and should be easy to work with. Just don't forget that figures a bit smaller due to scale. Assembly manual is combined with marking guide and printed on the separate sheet of paper.
New release should be already available for purchase. In my opinion it is an interesting choice for modelers who would like to have diorama with aircraft and figures. Overall quality looks great out of the box, and it is good to get five figures in one box. The only thing that could be handy - alternative poses or at least one pilot in seating position, but who knows, maybe it will come later as another set. :)
