Arma Hobby 1/72 Hurricane Mk.II A/B/C Eastern Front (70045)

The legendary Hawker Hurricane, a pivotal defender during the Battle of Britain, also saw action on the Eastern Front. Now, Arma Hobby brings this versatile fighter to life in a thrilling new 1/72 scale kit – the Hurricane Mk.IIA/B/C Eastern Front (70045). Packaging is typical for this brand, so all frames are packed into the same plastic bag. Moreover, this is a deluxe set, so there are two sets of parts inside. Let's open everything and take a closer look together.
By the way, here you can read review with Mk.I Hurricane from the same brand.

I recommend to watch this video-review where I show all parts even closer.

First we see large frame with wing and fuselage parts. Note that the latter are molded without tail fin, and wing sections have flaps and ailerons premolded.

Inside you will find some minor cockpit features. Those will be enhanced with separate parts should be visible on the finished model.

Another pair of wing panels is molded in the same style. Here you can also see fuel tanks and bombs which can be installed on your Hurricane.

As we get several versions in the box, there is another sprue which will help you do this. Overall design is pretty much the same as on the first one.

Cockpit floor is molded inbetween wing panels. External features include recessed panel lines and rivets.

Clear frame looks good and should allow you to open the cockpit on the model.

Yes, masks are also included, so you will get nice paintwork without any effort.

3D-printed parts are supplied in separate package. Here you will find some of the cockpit bits as well as exhausts for both aircraft.

Decals are printed in Techmod, so printing quality looks great. You can see all marking options on the photo below.

Assembly manual is typical for this brand. I show all pages in the video-review.

New aircraft model should be already available for purchase. In my opinion it is quite an interesting choice of topic and you will be able to copy several aircraft at once. Overall package looks decent, as one box brings all necessary items together. The only thing is that 3D-printed parts might be a bit tricky for older modelers, but with right tools it should be fine. :)
