Arma Hobby 1/48 Sea Hurricane Mk.IIc (40009)

This review is fully dedicated to Arma Hobby 1/48 Sea Hurricane Mk.IIc (40009). New version of the famous aircraft comes molded in popular scale. Moreover, boxart claims that there are 3D printed parts included too. Previous review showed that plastic is quite decent, so it is interesting to see what has changed in the new iteration. Packaging is typical, and all frames come in one plastic bag. Let's open everything and take a closer look together.
By the way, here you can read review with another Hurricane in the same scale.

Watch this video where I show all parts even closer.

First frame is dedicated to fuselage halves mostly. Both are molded without tail fin and lower tail panel. Overall features look quite impressive in person.

Inside you will find modest cockpit features as all other elements are molded as separate parts. Guiding pins are also here.

Tail surfaces should be assembled out of several parts. The same can be said about landing gear wheels which also have weight effect.

Here you can see cockpit side frames and landing gear legs. Both look great out of the box and deserve a careful paintwork.

Another pair of wing parts is molded in the same style.

Inside you will find guiding elements for easier assembly.

Here you can take a closer look at external features. All this should look great after paintwork applied.

Clear frame is packed separately and offers you a chance to open the cockpit. Parts look crisp and masks can be seen on the photo below.

Precut masks will be also useful for the landing gear wheels on the same model.

Sea Hurricane version will need new fuselage panel, and it comes in form of 3D-printed part. There are also some other upgrades included on the same base.

Decals are printed in Techmod, so you don't have to worry about quality. Moreover, there are cockpit decals which should be enough for some modelers. You can see all markings on the photo below.

One of the markings comes with small errata, so be sure to follow the instructions.

Assembly manual is typical for this brand. I show all pages in the video-review.

New version should be already available for purchase. In my opinion it is a great addition to lineup of Hurricane models from the well-known Polish brand. You can expect all necessary things in one box, and there are only minor elements which can be improved. Nevertheless, even standard build should look great and will be fun to build.
