ICM 1/32 Gloster Sea Gladiator Mk.II with Royal Navy Pilots (32045)

Today we are going to talk about ICM 1/32 Gloster Sea Gladiator Mk.II with Royal Navy Pilots (32045). One box will bring you several kits inside - aircraft and figures, both in large scale. There is no diorama base included, but those kits combined can bring you an interesting scene. Moreover, large scale might be attractive for many modelers. There are 140 parts for the aircraft and 28 parts for three figurines. Let's open the box and take a closer look together.
By the way, here you can read review with previous release of Gladiator kit.

Both fuselage halves are molded together with tail fin. Inside you will find guiding elements for easier alignment.

It is nice to see detailed engine included in the standard package. In my opinion it deserves careful painting and weathering.

One-piece propeller will be used for the naval version. Note also special fuselage section which will house tail hook.

Top wing should be assembled out of two halves. Ailerons are separate here, as well as rudder and elevators.

Lower wing is divided into three panels, and there are guiding pins inside. Each landing gear wheel should be glued out of two halves, but I would recommend to check resin alternatives.

All figures fit onto one plastic frame. Overall design is typical for this scale, and should be easy to work with.

Clear frame is packed into separate plastic bag. Molding quality looks great, and there is a masking template in the assembly manual.

Decals sheet is not that big, but you will find all necessary symbols there. Assembly manual is typical for this brand, and I show all pages in the video-review.

New biplane combo set should be already available for purchase. In my opinion it is a great choice for all fans of British aircraft in large scale. Moreover, even out of the box version should look great after careful assembly. Yes, rigging will take some time, but this is something you can't avoid with biplane. Maybe the only thing I would recommend is to get some simple diorama base, as it will help build the mood for the whole combo of aircraft and figures.
