ICM 1/72 U-Boat Type "Molch" (S.019)

Today we are going to talk about ICM 1/72 U-Boat Type "Molch" (S.019). New kit comes as yet another part of naval lineup from the famous brand. Note the scale of this model, I guess such choice was necessary in order to have this model in reasonable dimensions which will be easy to handle. Packaging is typical for this brand, and all parts come in one plastic bag. There are 34 parts which should assemble into a model with 152mm length. Let's open this small box and take a closer look together.

All grey plastic parts can be found on one frame. Overall molding quality looks great, and you can also see nice external features on those parts. ICM included special display stand, which will come handy for showing your submarine in finished state.

Flip over the frame, and you will notice guiding pins which should help with alignment of the parts. Yes, there are also some interior parts, and I guess they will be visible through clear inserts.

Yes, there are clear parts included in the standard package. Overall molding quality looks great, but there are no masks. Note that manufacturer offers two types of the top hatches.

Decals sheet is not that big, but you will find all necessary symbols for several marking options. Unfortunately there are no decals for the special stand. Assembly manual is typical for ICM, and I show all pages in the video-review.

New Midget Submarine should be already available for purchase. In my opinion it is another great kit from ICM, which should be fun to build. Moreover, this is completely new plastic with plenty of features in the standard package. I also like the fact that the stand is included, as some brands still skip on such important addition. :)
