Miniart 1/35 US Stake Body Truck G506 (38067)

This article is dedicated to Miniart 1/35 US Stake Body Truck G506 (38067). Kit comes as another version of the famous US truck in popular scale. As you can notice on the boxart, set features truck only, without any figurines or additional accessories. Overall packaging is typical for this brand, so all parts are sealed into plastic bag. Let's open them and take a closer look together.

First frame is the biggest in the kit and can be found in previous versions as well. Here you can see bonnet parts as well as some engine bits.

Front cab should be glued out of separate panels. Whole design looks fine and should be easy to work with.

Rear bed should be glued out of separate panels. There is no wooden texture, but I don't think it is needed in this scale.

Doors are separate here, so you can use it for some diorama ideas. Chassis bars feature premolded details, which deserve careful washing weathering.

Left sprue carries special template for bending the PE parts. Kit still features plastic wheels which can be considered as the great advantage over typical rubber or vinyl.

Front grille is also supplied as plastic parts. Bonnet panels have nice premolded features which will be visible on the finished model.

Rear bed parts are specific for today's version. There are also PE locks to be installed on those.

Clear frame is packed into separate plastic bag. Overall molding quality looks fine, but there are no masks included.

Separate envelope hides PE and decals sheet. Cartograf printed those decals, so you shouldn't be worried about possible quality issues. On the photo below you can see all four markings. PE fret is not that big, but still brings a lot of interesting things to add on your car.

New kit should be already available for purchase. In my opinion it is on the same level as the previous versions, so you can expect nice quality out of the box. Moreover, Miniart kept all the bonuses in place, and such thing can be considered as important advantage. Truck assembly won't be difficult, but it is very flexible for some diorama ideas thanks to assembly options. The only thing I would recommend to add - some figurines and items in the back of the truck.
