Miniart 1/35 StuH 42 Ausf.G Late Prod. (35355)

Today we are going to talk about Miniart 1/35 StuH 42 Ausf.G Late Prod. (35355). This is a new model kit of German afv in popular scale. Note that we have "non-interior" kit here, so there are no internals, and this fact might make some modelers happy. This might be due to the fact that they can focus on the external details and not on thinking how to expose internals. Not to dive deep into this topic, let's open the box and check everything together.
By the way, here you can read review with StuG from the same brand.

We are going to start with the biggest frame in the box. Here you will find some of the hull panels as well as some minor elements.

Superstructure should be glued out of separate panels. Overall design is quite smart and should help you preserve the right alignment of those parts.

Note that rubber sections are molded together with roadwheels, so you will have to be careful while painting them. Note that separate hatches might be handy for figurines or diorama ideas.

Side skirts are molded as single-piece parts with details on both sides. Some of the engine bay hatches are molded separately, but there is no engine in the kit as you might remember.

Miniart included new gun for StuH as single-piece part what will help to keep the nice appearance. Separate track links are definitely a nice addition for 1/35 kit, but assembly might take some time.

Wide frames are literally filled with various parts. Be sure to use the right ones as some of those will go into spare parts box.

Lower hull section should be glued out of separate panels too. This is also typical design for Miniart, so don't worry - everything will go together easily.

Various pioneer tools come on the separate frame. Molding quality looks great here and they definitely deserve a nice paintwork.

Clear frame comes in the separate plastic bag. There are no masks, so be ready to cut your own stickers.

Kit features not one, but two PE frets for fine details on your StuH. Yes, schurzen will be made out of metal, what is really cool for various damage copying. Miniart also included special plaque with vehicle name here. Decals sheet looks good and should be easy to work with. You can see all markings on the photo below.

Assembly manual is typical for this brand. I show all pages in the video-review as usual.

New version of this vehicle looks as good as previous releases. In my opinion this is one of the best options on the market today. You get a lot of stuff for the price, and all of those things can be assembled out of the box and still look impressive. Moreover, there is a huge potential for various diorama ideas, so I think some people would be definitely happy. :) The only thing to mention is that whole kit is definitely for experienced modelers, so be ready.
