Today's article is dedicated to Miniart 1/35 StuG III Ausf.G Mar.1943 Alkett Prod. (35336). This is a new version of the German AFV in popular scale. As you remember, previous release came as Interior Kit, but this time we get vehicle without interior. Such version would help you focus on external features instead. Moreover, you don't sacrifice any details, only the interior won't be included. Packaging is typical for this brand, and all frames come in one plastic bag. Let's open it and take a closer look together.

First frame is dedicated to lower hull parts. As you can notice, those are separate panels, which should be combined together.

Next we see more panels as well as ammo boxes and pioneer tools. Note that tool clamps can be upgraded with PE parts.

Note that all hatches are molded separately. This is a good thing, but don't forget that you won't get any internals here. Main barrel is molded as single-piece part.

Superstructure should be assembled separately and then installed on the lower section. Just be sure to check the dry fitment and you will be fine.

Yes, we also get some internal parts for the main gun. This is not a full version, but still nice to have them out of the box.

Roadwheels feature premolded details. Drive sprockets should be assembled out of two halves with help of guiding elements inside. There is no assembly jig for the track, so be ready.

Kit features a lot of thin parts. I would recommend to use plastic saw with those.

All hull panels are detailed from both sides. It might be handy for some diorama ideas, but again I remind you that there are no interior parts in its full meaning.

More pioneer tools come on the next frame. It is great to see so many things molded separately.

Clear frame looks great, but there are no masks included. Decals come from Decograph, so you don't have to worry about printing quality.

PE fret is a nice bonus from Miniart which should be handy for fine detailing of your StuG. On the photo below you can see all markings.

Assembly manual is typical for this brand. I show all pages in the video-review.

New StuG comes as a nice alternative for those modelers who would like to avoid building interior in their model. Instead they will be able to focus on the external features. Believe me, this model is crazy in terms of details and even standard out-of-the-box build should look amazing. The only thing required from you - patience and time as some parts will be a bit tricky to work with. I recommend this kit to all modelers who are confident in their skills and ready for a small challenge.
