Miniart 1/35 TACAM T-60 (35230)

This time we are going to talk about Miniart 1/35 TACAM T-60 (35230). This is a Romanian Tank Destroyer in popular scale. Moreover, it comes as Interior Kit, what is a nice advantage. All internals will be visible and new plastic gives you the chance to copy them. As you can guess by its name, vehicle is based on T-60 tank. Packaging is typical, all frames are packed into one plastic bag. Let's open them and take a closer look together.

First frame is the biggest one in the kit. Here you will find mix of hull panels together with various internal elements.

Molding quality looks fine and attachment points are thin enough in order to carefully separate them off the box. Nevertheless, thin parts will require due care, so don't hurry with them.

Parts count is quite impressive in this kit and there are a lot of small frames. Be sure not to lose any of these because there are no spare parts.

Top hull panel won't be needed in today's version, but all panels for the lower half will be employed in the model.

Here you can see side panels for the lower half. Yes, tracks are molded as separate parts and will have to be assembled together, but there is no assembly jig in the kit.

Interior Kit features nice copy of the engine, so I would recommend to think on how to expose it on the finished model.

PE fret comes in the special envelope. Here you will find various internal and external parts. Decals sheet is printed in Decograph, so there is nothing to worry about. You can see all markings on the photo below.

Today's kit comes as nice addition to tank models series from Miniart. Don't be fooled by its scale - finished model will be quite small and some parts might require use of tweezers. Nevertheless, final result should be really detailed one and might come handy in some diorama. We have all internals copied out of the box, so some modelers can use it for their projects. :)
