Eduard 1/72 MiG-21MF Interceptor Weekend (7469)

This article is dedicated to Eduard 1/72 MiG-21MF Interceptor Weekend (7469). New kit comes as yet another version of the famous aircraft. Today's boxing carries only plastic and decals without any additional bonuses. For some modelers it should be enough, so they would be eager to get such kit. Well, let's open this nice box and take a closer look at what is included inside.

We are going to start with the first frame where you will find mix of parts. Manufacturer placed here rocket boosters, cockpit elements and some of the landing gear bits.

It is quite cool to have full set of various armament included in the box. As you can see, there are different missiles, bombs and fuel tanks supplied.

Fuselage parts can be found on the last sprue. Note that lower and top sections come as single-piece elements what will give you smooth result.

Clear frame is packed into separate plastic bag. Molding quality looks great and you can open the cockpit on your model. We are checking Weekend Edition kit, so there are no masks included.

Nevertheless, kit still packs generous decals sheets which look impressive for 1/72 scale model. On the first one you will also find some cockpit decals.

Overall printing quality looks great and should be easy to work with. You can check all four markings on the photo below.

Small MiG-21 kit should be already available for purchase. In my opinion it is a great choice for modelers who don't have space for bigger build, but still want a famous jet in their collection. Moreover, even Weekend Edition set offers a lot of features out of the box. You can add even more with help of original accessories from Eduard. Of course, they will require additional investment, but final result should be worth it. :)
