Miniart 1/35 Tempo E400 Hochlader Pritsche (35371)

Today we are going to talk about Miniart 1/35 Tempo E400 Hochlader Pritsche (35371). As you can guess, kit copies another version of the unusual vehicle. This time it comes as military support car, so it might be possible to use model in some kind of diorama project. Packaging is typical for this brand, and all parts come sealed in one plastic bag. Let's open everything and take a closer look at all parts.
By the way, here you can read build-review with similar kit which will show how everything gets together.

Watch this video-review where I show all parts even closer.

First frame is dedicated to mix of various parts - you will find here wheels and engine bits. Note that wheels are molded together with tire walls, so it will be necessary to cut out some painting templates.

Next we see front cab panels with separate doors. This feature should be handy for some assembly ideas. Premolded details look great and deserve careful paintwork on them.

More panels for the front cab here - rear wall and roof. There are also supports for this car section.

Rear axle should be glued out of several parts. Moreover, you can add brake lines if you would like to have more features on your model.

Rear section will be assembled out of separate panels. There is no wood texture details, but you can play with weathering.

It is still cool to see one-piece bonnet part. Yes, grille meshes will be copied with help of PE parts.

Today's version features covered rear section. Tarpauline molded as single-piece part, what should make assembly a bit easier.

PE fret features parts for external and internal details. Those will require tweezers for installation. Decals look good and give a chance to copy several markings.

Clear frame is packed into separate plastic bag. Molding quality looks nice, but there are no masks included.

Assembly manual is typical for this brand. I show all pages in the video-review.

New Tempo should be already available for purchase. In my opinion this kit offers a good chance to build something different from what we are used to see in 1/35 scale. Moreover, you will get a lot of features out of the box, so this is definitely not a simple kit. Yes, clear parts might require some additional work, but they are easy to paint, so I don't think it would be a huge issues for experienced modelers.
