Miniart 1/35 Allied Jerry Cans WWII (49003)

This time we are going to talk about Miniart 1/35 Allied Jerry Cans WWII (49003). Straightaway it is worth pointing your attention on the scale of this kit. We are used to see various Miniart sets in 1/35 scale, but this one comes in smaller scale and might be handy for dioramas. There are not that many accessories available for this "size", so it is good to see something new. Packaging is typical for the brand, all frames come sealed in a plastic bag. Let's open everything and take a closer look together.

We are going to start with plastic parts. All of the fit on several sprues which look like the one you see above. Overall design is something you would expect from such subject, so it is just a matter of combining everything together.

Small PE fret will come handy for fine features. Decals sheet is not that big, but carries various writings for your cans.

Marking guide is printed in color on the rear side of the box. Assembly manual comes as separate brochure.

New release should be already available for purchase. In my opinion it is a decent add-on for modelers who plan to work on WW2 model in 1/48 scale. Moreover, it can be part of some diorama, and you get enough items for several projects. The only thing I wonder is whether Miniart will go into 1/48 armor as well. :)
