Miniart 1/35 Liefer Pritschenwagen Cheese Delivery Car (38046)

This time we have a chance to check Miniart 1/35 Liefer Pritschenwagen Cheese Delivery Car (38046). New kit brings us another version of the German car in popular scale. As you can see on the boxart, we will get pickup with cheese. This sounds like an interesting build which is completely different from what we are used to see in such scale. Overall packaging is typical for Miniart, so all parts come sealed in one plastic bag. Let's open them and take a closer look together.
By the way, here you can read review with beer delivery car.

Watch this video-review in order to see all parts even closer.

We are going to start with "universal" sprue which was included in previous versions as well. Here you will find engine parts as well as some of the external elements. Note that today's car will use front doors only.

Frame Hb is the new one and brings us parts for the rear section. Note that boxart shows vehicle with dropped flap, but it is not something mentioned in the assembly manual.

This sprue also comes from saloon version, but we will have to use the chassis part and bonnet panels. Note that you can open the engine as such option is mentioned in the assembly manual.

Here you can see another new frames which bring us parts for...cheese. Yes, you will be able to copy the same items as depicted on the boxart.

Pickup version requires slightly different floor panel, so it comes on the separate sprue together with front cab panels. Overall molding quality looks great.

It is nice to see fenders molded in place, so you won't have to worry about overall alignment.

Last frame comes in double as here we will get roadwheels as well as front seats. I am glad to see plastic wheels because such parts will be easier to work with.

Clear frame comes in the separate plastic bag with decals. Overall molding quality looks great, but there are no masks or templates in the kit.

PE fret is packed into separate envelope with Miniart logo. Here you will get parts both for internal and external features. Decals sheet is printed in Cartograf, so overall quality looks fine. Three markings can be seen on the photo below.

Assembly manual is typical for this brand. I show all pages in the video-review.

New pickup car should be already available for purchase. In my opinion it is an interesting choice for modelers who are tired from all those military builds in 1/35 scale. Moreover, you can add some figurines here and get a nice diorama with huge cheese piece in the back section of the car. Overall quality looks great, but this model is not something I would recommend to beginners. It looks like some skills will be needed in order to make use out of all features here. :)
Get this and other kits in Modelimex webshop.
