This time we have a chance to talk about Tamiya 1/24 Nissan Z (363). Car model comes as yet another great kit from the famous brand. All previous generations were copied in the same scale, so you have a perfect chance to do a small display with several cars in a row. Nevertheless, real car will be sold only in Japan and US, so you can copy both specs with help of the new model. Packaging is typical here, let's open this box and take a closer look at all parts.
By the way, here you can read review with the old coupe in the same scale.

Watch this video where I show all parts closer.
We are going to start with the white frame which carries some interior parts and floor panel. Note that seats should be assembled out of several parts what would make painting easier.
Silver sprue carries some of the suspension and drivetrain parts. This model doesn't feature the engine, so you would only get the lower section of the gearbox.
Standard wheel rims look good, but some modelers would exchange them for aftermarket. Two grills on both sides should be installed into front bumper.
Next black sprue is way bigger as it carries interior "tub" and other internal parts. Note two versions of the dashboard here.
Interior tub is molded together with the trunk floor. Such design should keep overall alignment intact. :)
Clear frame comes in the separate plastic bag and carries all necessary parts. Tamiya molding quality looks great here and will benefit from careful painting.
Note that tail lights feature frosted panels, just like on the real car.
Rear bumper here comes as the separate part.
Car body is packed only in the separate bag. I would prefer to have it in the box, so that no damage will be caused to such part.
Both doors, trunk and bonnet are molded shut here. Note that there is no roof as it will be installed separately.
Yes, whole roof panel is molded as another part in order to make it easier to get two-color paintwork on your model. The same frame will also bring you rear differential as well as suspension parts.
Vinyl tires are typical, so I would recommend to check aftermarket for a bit more detailed options.
These three things are packed together. Chrome stickers will be used for mirrors and badges. Decals sheets carries not only some of the interior things, but also special stripes for the taillights. Masks are pre-cut and ready to be used rightaway.
I am still not getting the whole idea behind black-and-white manuals. It is weird to get such cheap stuff for the kit's price. You can check all pages in the video-review.
New Nissan should be already available for purchase. In my opinion it is a great offer for all JDM fans who would like to assemble their own copy of Japanese coupe. Moreover, it looks like easy model to build and you get all the necessary things in one box. We might also see some aftermarket upgrade sets which would make whole car even more detailed. The only thing that will be difficult to fix is the closed bonnet and doors, but I can bet we will see some professional modelers do this. :)
