This time we are going to talk about Eduard 1/48 Bf 109G-14/AS Profipack (82162). New boxing brings us yet another version of the famous German fighter aircraft. Model should copy the high attitude version with DB 605ASM engine. Original plastic proved to be a nice thing to work with, so it will be interesting to see what is included here. Packaging is typical, all frames come in several bags. Let's open them and take a closer look together.
By the way, here you can read review with Wildcat in the same scale.

Watch this video-review where I show all parts even closer.
First frame is kind of universal for 109 models from Eduard. Here you will find mix of various parts in different versions.
Second sprue is also standard for all Bf 109 and here manufacturer placed tail surfaces as well as external armament.
Both fuselage halves are molded without tail fin and top cowling cover. External features include recessed panel lines and rivets.
Wing parts division is interesting because edges are molded on the top panels. All mechanization comes as separate parts.
Clear frame is packed into separate plastic bag. Molding quality looks great, and you can see masks on the photo below.
Prepainted PE fret should come handy for interior and exterior features on your model.
Both decals sheets are printed in Eduard, so you shouldn't be worried about any quality issues. First sheet is dedicated to main symbols.
Second sheet brings us stencils for the aircraft. All markings can be seen on the photo below.
Assembly manual is typical for this brand. I show all pages in the video-review.
Today's version of Bf 109 should be already available for purchase. In my opinion it is another nice offering from the famous Czech model brand, and overall experience should be great. The only thing required from you is careful assembly and at least some experience with PE. Don't forget that there is also a huge choice of various Brassin accessories. This will be good and bad as they look great, but you will want to have them all on your model. :D
