Eduard 1/72 Spitfire Mk.VIII Weekend Edition (7462)

This article is dedicated to Eduard 1/72 Spitfire Mk.VIII Weekend Edition (7462). Kit comes as yet another version of the famous British aircraft in the small scale. Nevertheless, today's boxing might be a bit more accessible for some modelers. It can be also a good base for adding more accessories, as here you will get only plastic and decals. Packaging is typical for this brand, frames come in several plastic bags. Let's open them and take a closer look together.
By the way, here you can read review with Hellcat in the same scale.

First frame is dedicated to fuselage halves and wing parts. Overall design is typical, note that flaps will require a separate PE set.

Two small frames carry tail surfaces as well as separate ailerons. Be sure to use the right version.

Another frame carries mix of small parts. Cockpit walls look good and should feature more plastic parts which are molded separately.

The last grey plastic frame also features cockpit parts and several versions of the fuel tanks. Note that whole cockpit can be replaced with Brassin upgrade.

Kit features two decals sheets, both are printed in Eduard. Printing quality looks great, there are four markings in the set. You can see them all on the photo below.

Assembly manual is typical for this brand. I show all pages in the video-review.

New kit should be already available for purchase. In my opinion it is a great choice for modelers who would like to build a famous British aircraft in small scale. Moreover, this plastic still looks great and can turn into a nice model even without any additional accessories. Of course, you can also take a look at all add-ons offered by Eduard, as there are many interesting things. Whole set can be even recommended to beginners, who are ready to work with model.
Get this and other kits on Eduard website.

Pros
