ICM 1/35 Sd.Kfz. 247 Ausf.B with MG 34 (35112)

This time we are going to talk about ICM 1/35 Sd.Kfz. 247 Ausf.B with MG 34 (35112). Vehicle comes as the new version of the German armored car in popular scale. As you can guess from its name, car will feature machine gun on the top. Packaging is typical for this brand, all frames come in one plastic bag. There are 258 parts inside which should assemble into a model with 144mm length. Let's open them all and check parts together.

We are going to start with the sprue which carries side panels for the hull. Note that wheel fenders and doors are molded separately.

This sprue comes in two pieces. Here you will find wheel rims and suspension parts. Some of them are really tiny, so be sure not to lose them.

Here we can see various equipment items as well as machine gun. Of course, helmets can be considered as nice bonus which will come handy in later projects.

Whole chassis should be assembled out of separate bars, so be ready to work with such design. It is not difficult, but I would rather recommend to check alignment.

Top section comes as large one-piece part, and this is great thing to have. Such design would make it easier to get the right shape in your car.

Some of the stowage boxes panels are molded separately. Moreover, each of the markings offers different configuration.

Vinyl tires is not something I am happy to see. Well, they are ok for out-of-the-box build, but maybe it would be good idea to find resin replacement.

Clear frame comes in the separate plastic bag. Molding quality looks great, but we would need only headlamps parts here.

Decals sheet is not that big, but printing quality looks nice. Assembly manual is typical for this brand, and you can check all pages in the video-review.

New vehicle should be already available for purchase. In one box you will get a decent model with great potential for some scratch-building or weathering. Don't forget that top section is open, so it would be a good thing to place some figures and items there. I don't think that assembly will be difficult here, so you can try this kit even with moderate skills.
