ICM 1/35 OT-34/76 (35354)

Today we are going to talk about ICM 1/35 OT-34/76 (35354). This is a new version of the famous tank. Yes, it is a flamethrower tank, and now we have a chance to build it in popular scale. We reviewed the original release, but this time there are new parts inside. There are 201 parts in total, which should assemble into model with 189mm length. Let's open this box and take a closer look together.

Two sprues are dedicated to roadwheels. These are molded together with rubber sections, so you will have to get some masks or templates for painting.

Here you can see separate hull sections. Be careful with their fitment, and you will get a nice result.

Note that each suspension arm is molded separately, so it will be important to get them aligned together on the model.

Turret has both hatches separate, so you can use it for some project with figures. Note that there is no interior, but main gun is copied out of the box.

Hull parts come as two large sections. Such design should make it easier to get both together. Note that driver's hatch is separate here.

OT-34 is a flamethrower version, so kit features new sprue with parts for this "device". It will be installed instead of machine gun.

Yes, this version still packs vinyl tracks and they are ok for beginner modelers. I would rather suggest to change them on something made out of plastic or metal.

Decals are printed in a nice quality. You will find all necessary symbols for three marking options which are shown on the photo below.

Assembly manual is typical for ICM. I show all pages in the video-review.

New OT-34/76 comes as another nice version of the legendary tank, so you will be able to build your own copy. In my opinion such model will be good even for beginners who would like to try their hand in such project. Moreover, there is a great potential for various upgrades, and that gives you even more possibilities to make tank more sophisticated. Add some figures and it will become a nice diorama project.
