Miniart 1/35 NVA T-55A (37083)

This article is dedicated to Miniart 1/35 NVA T-55A (37083). New kit brings us another version of the famous tank in popular scale. Note that we get it without interior, and some modelers will be happy to have such version. Packaging is typical, box is literally filled with various sprues which are sealed into one bag. As you can guess, there is no parts count on the box, but amount of various parts is truly impressive. Let's open it and take a closer look.

Обратите внимание, что в этот раз пластик поставляется без интерьера. Упаковка типичная, коробка буквально забита литниками, которые закрыты в один пакет. Как вы можете догадаться, на коробке ни слова о количестве деталей. Давайте откроем её и рассмотрим всё поближе.

We will start with small frames. There are a lot of such sprues, so be sure not to lose any of these. Note also one-piece wheels which will require careful painting and cleaning from plastic flash.

Мы начнём с небольших рамок. Здесь много подобных литников, поэтому нужно постараться чтобы ничего не потерять. Обратите внимание на цельные катки, которые потребуют масок, а также зачистки от облоя.

Here you can see hull panels and some of the turret parts. Hatches can be opened, but don't forget that we don't have engine in today's boxing of the kit.

Здесь вы можете видеть панели корпуса и некоторые детали башни. Люки можно открыть, но в модели нет двигателя.

Turret should be glued out of separate panels. Final result would look impressive, but will require some careful work from you.

Башня склеивается из отдельных частей. Итоговый результат будет впечатляющим, но вам придётся попотеть.

Next we see stowage boxes. These should be assembled in closed version, but some modelers might think on how to open them for their build.

Далее мы видим ящики. Они собираются в закрытом варианте, но некоторые моделисты наверняка придумают как открыть хотя бы один.

Kit is full of small and thin parts. I would recommend to separate those with help of plastic saw.

Набор содержит много тонких и небольших деталей. Такие лучше отделять пилкой для пластика.

Moreover, it is necessary to drill holes in some hull panels. Don't forget about doing this step because it will be needed for tools installation.

Более того, нужно будет просверлить отверстия в некоторых панелях. Не забудьте об этом, так как сюда будут закрепляться инструменты.

Interesting thing is that even escape hatches are molded separately. Small frame is dedicated to fuel drums which will be placed on the rear part.

Стоит заметить, что даже нижние люки выполнены отдельно. Небольшая рамка выделена под топливные бочки, которые уместятся на задней части.

Track parts come in the separate plastic bag. Molding quality looks great, but whole assembly process will take some time.

Траки упакованы в отдельный пакет. Качество литья смотрится отлично, но сборка займёт некоторое время.

Clear frames are packed into the separate plastic bag. They look fine, but Miniart doesn't include masks or any template.

Прозрачные рамки упакованы отдельно. Они смотрятся отлично, но в комплекте нет масок или шаблонов.

PE fret can be found in the separate envelope. All these parts will be handy for external details on your model.

Травление закрыто в отдельный конверт. Все эти детали пригодятся для внешней проработки вашего танка.

Decals sheet comes from Decograph. Printing quality looks great and you can see all markings on the photo below.

Лист с декалями отпечатан в Декографе. Качество печати смотрится отлично, все варианты показаны на фото ниже.

New tank kit from Miniart should be available for purchase. In one box you will get a decent plastic which will make modelers happy. Well, I have to note that such modeler should have some skills because kit might require some attention. This is definitely not the right choice for beginners. Moreover, all those openable hatches might come handy for figures placement. In other words, such tank can be useful for diorama project as well.
