ICM 1/35 Battle of Marne (35660)

This article is dedicated to ICM 1/35 Battle of Marne (35660). Here I would recommend to take a careful look at boxart, so that it will be easier to understand what you can expect. One box carries parts for a small diorama scene, what might be interesting for some modelers. Packaging is typical, sprues are separated into several bags. There are 94 parts for car assembly and 86 parts for four figures. Let's open them and take a careful look. Don't forget to watch the video-review above. :)
By the way, here you can read review with Model T build-project.

First we are going to start with car parts. Here you can see panels which will be needed to assemble the car body. Note that some doors are molded separately.

Kit features plastic wheel rims with vinyl tires. You will see the latter further in the article.

Last sprue for the vehicle is also dedicated to wide mix of parts. Here you will find one-piece bonnet panel as well as some parts for the suspension. Molding quality looks great and I didn't find any issues here.

As for the figures, you will find all necessary parts on two frames. Yes, poses will be the same as on the boxart. Parts division is typical for this scale.

Last grey plastic frame is dedicated to various equipment and guns which might come handy with figures. As you can guess, some of these will stay in your spare parts box.

As you remember, car features vinyl tires, so maybe it is worth searching for resin replacement. Decals look good, clear parts are also fine, but there are no masks included. You can see all assembly manuals on the photo below. I show pages in the video-review.

Combo-set should be already available. In my opinion it is a good choice for modelers who would like to get vehicle and figures in the same box. Such package will save you some time and give a chance to focus on the project. Just add a nice diorama base, and you will be fine with such build. Plastic parts quality looks nice and I don't think it will be difficult to build everything into a nice scene.
