This time we are going to check together new Arma Hobby 1/72 F4F-3 Wildcat (70090). New aircraft kit comes as a new tool offering, so all plastic parts should come in redesigned state. I assembled one of the previous versions, so it will be interesting to see what is offered here. Overall packaging is typical for this brand, and all frames are packed into one plastic bag. Let's open them all and take a closer look together.

First frame comes with right fuselage half and top wing halves. Here you can also notice several types of the cowling and cockpit parts.

Molding quality looks fine, but there might be small amount of flash, for example, around propeller, as you noted in the video. Premolded cockpit features look great and deserve a nice paintwork.

As you can guess, second sprue brings us all remaining parts. Engine and landing gear should be nicely detailed out of the box, so it might be worth thinking on how to show them on finished build.

Clear frame is packed into separate plastic bag. Molding quality looks great, and you can also open cockpit on your model.

Yes, masks are included, they are pre-cut and should be handy for a nice finish on clear parts and landing gear wheels.

Decals sheet is not that big, but features all necessary symbols for several markings. Printing quality is great as it comes from Cartograf. All three options can be seen on the photo below.

New aircraft kit should be already available for purchase. In my opinion it is a great choice for modelers who would like to copy the famous Wildcat in small scale. Moreover, quality out of the box looks great, and you can expect all necessary things in the box. I like that even in such small size we get quite convincing features, which should look great in the finished state. Moreover, there is no doubt that we will see some aftermarket too.
