Warlord Games Vogelspinne Walker (452010201)

This review will tell you more about Warlord Games Vogelspinne Walker (452010201). One look at the boxart should be enough to understand that we are getting rather special vehicle in what-if universe. This might be an interesting base for your project with some additional figures or maybe even as the solo-build. Overall packaging is typical, so box comes shrink-wrapped. Inside you will find several frames which carry all necessary parts together. Let's open them all and take a closer look together.
By the way, here you can read review with figurine which might be handy with this kit.

Watch this video-review where I show all parts even closer.

First frame is filled with various parts - from legs, up to fuel tank. Molding quality looks fine, overall plastic shaping is also good here.

It is cool that figurine is shown on the boxart and also included in the package. Overall design rather simple, as you would need only upper section of the torso.

Main hull should be glued out of several panels. There are guiding pins which will help you with alignment. Note that all doors are molded shut, so it is only turret hatch which can be opened.

Nevertheless, Warlord Games provides several assembly options which might be handy for a bit more variety in your project. Here you can also appreciate precision of the molding quality.

I am glad to see decals included in the kit. Printing quality looks fine, but you can also use something from your spares in order to get even more unusual look.

Several marking options can be found on the rear side of the box. Assembly manual comes as separate brochure.

You can check all the pages in the video-review.

New walker robot should be already available for purchase. I mention in the video that there is no clear indication on the scale, but it looks more like 1/35 to me. Overall quality is great straight out of the box, so you just need to decide on which armament options you would like to see on your model. Assembly should be quick as well, and I doubt there will be some big issues with all the steps. :)
THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP IN GETTING THIS SET FOR THE REVIEW!

  • Nice molding quality
