Master Box 1/35 To Catch a Thief 2 (MB35251)

Today we are going to talk about Master Box 1/35 To Catch a Thief 2 (MB35251). This one is more of a combo-set because we will get not only the figurines, but also small buggy in the same scale. All this combines should be an interesting diorama project, and that's why it is worth checking everything closer. Overall packaging is typical for this brand, and all parts come in one plastic bag. Let's open them and take a closer look.

First frame is dedicated to figurines and some vehicle accessories. Overall design and parts division is standard for 1/35 scale kit.

Figurines don't have guiding elements, but it should be easy to combine everything together. Here you can also see the skull which will be placed on the front of the car.

Buggy should be glued out of several parts which come on two frames. First one carries wheel rims and engine parts.

Second sprue is dedicated to large body panels and some other elements. Overall design is quite smart and should be easy to get together.

Kit features vinyl tires, which are okay for standard build. Experienced modelers will probably try to replace this with some resin aftermarket. Assembly manual for figurines is printed on the rear side of the box.

New set should be already available for purchase. In my opinion it is a great combo for some unusual project where you build both the vehicle and figurines. Moreover, the setting gives you relative freedom in terms of marking options and weathering ideas. Overall quality looks as good as in other Master Box kits, so you just need to get everything together.
