Miniart 1/48 P-47D-15/16 PTO (48039)

This review is focused on Miniart 1/48 P-47D-15/16 PTO (48039). As you can guess, this is yet another version of the famous aircraft molded in popular scale. Previous releases proved to be the best for modelers who would like to have the famous "Jug" in their collection. This is why it will be interesting to see what is new here. Overall packaging is typical, so all frames come in one plastic bag. Let's open them all and check parts together.

First frame carries wing mechanization and landing gear panels. Note also small frame with external armament for this aircraft.

There are more frame with various bombs and fuel tanks. Cockpit parts look great straight out of the box, but you can also find some aftermarket for even more features.

Propeller should be glued out of several parts. Fuselage panels should be handy for a smoother look of the model.

Fuselage halves are molded on the separate frames, both are with tail fin, but without rudder. External features are nice and looks suitable for this scale.

Engine even in the Basic Kit looks great and deserve a nice paintwork with weathering. Landing gear wheels are fine too. :)

Clear frame is packed separtely, molding quality looks great. I would recommend to get masks for those, as there are none included in the kit.

Each side of the wing should be glued out of two halves. Here you can also see cowling panels and firewall.

Decals are printed in Cartograf, so quality looks great. Here you will find all necessary symbols for two options.

Assembly manual is typical for this brand. I show all pages in the video-review.

New kit should be already available for purchase. In my opinion it is a great choice for all aviation fans and those who would like to build a nice model without spending extra. Overall package looks fine and offers a lot of things as well as assembly options. Yes, there is plenty of aftermarket available, but Basic Kit is targeted for those who don't need anything extra.
