Gecko Models 1/35 FV18001 Mk.1 4x4 Late (35GM0077)

In this review I will tell more about Gecko Models 1/35 FV18001 Mk.1 4x4 Late (35GM0077). New model comes as scale copy of the famous British car in popular scale. There is a full list of the features on the boxart, but I think the most important is that you will get plenty of assembly options and a lot of things copied in standard plastic. Overall packaging is typical, so frames are separated into several plastic bags. Let's open them all and take a closer look together.

First frame is filled with the small parts. Those will be used for the suspension and drivetrain on the car, and amount of features is impressive here.

External panels are molded separately and should be installed onto the chassis. Here you can also see the engine and separate doors.

Floor panel comes on the next frame together with main chassis and dashboard. One-piece chassis should make assembly process easier and faster.

Roof panel is molded together with two top sections for doors. Note also seat parts on the left frame here.

Kit also features quite generous amount of various add-ons which you can place in your model. Those look great and should be a worth addition on your build.

Even though there are two bonnet versions, you will be using only one. Note that front mask will have to be combined with PE parts.

Plastic wheels are great to see in such kit. Note that there is no weight effect on them. Front fenders are molded separately on their own frame.

Clear frame looks fine out of the box, but there are no masks included in the kit.

Unpainted PE fret should be handy for some fine features on your model. Parts might look tiny in some cases, but final look will be worth it.

Decals sheet is not that big, but printing quality looks fine. On the photo below you can see photos of the assembled vehicle.

New car model should be already available for purchase. In my opinion it is a great choice for all fans of this vehicle. It is nice to see a lot of things in the standard package, and the price is also very attractive. The only thing that could be handy is to have some figurines, but I guess it won't be hard to find the necessary set for your project.
