In this article you will learn more about Zvezda 1/35 Sd.Kfz.234/1 Late Mod. (35413). Kit continues line of the 8-wheelers in popular scale. Note that this one comes as not full interior kit, and such thing might make some modelers a bit more happy. They will be able to focus more on external features and get some weathering on those parts. Overall packaging is typical, so all frames come sealed in a plastic bag. Let's open it and take a closer look together.
By the way, here you can read review with another unusual vehicle from the same brand.

Watch this video where I show all parts even closer.
First two frames are busy with parts. The bigger one houses some interior bits, and yes, fighting compartment is still included in today's version. Each wheel should be assembled out of separate sections.
Jerry cans also come on several frames. Overall design is quite simple, and you should be able to get a nice result for each one.
Top hull section comes as one-piece part with cutouts for separate panels. Such design will give you the right alignment out of the box.
This frame comes in several pieces as Miniart placed suspension parts here. Assembly process might be a bit tedious, but final result would be worth it.
Even though this is not an interior kit, there are some internal parts supplied, and you can see them on the frames above. Those will be necessary as part of fighting compartment will be visible through the turret.
Side panels are molded with separate hatches. Such feature can be useful for some diorama ideas.
Interior will not get an engine compartment items, but all parts in the fighting area look good and deserve a nice paintwork.
Turret should be glued out of separate parts. You will also have to use some PE which will be shown on the next photos.
Clear frame is packed into separate plastic bag. Molding quality looks great, but there are no masks included here.
PE fret will come handy for some internal and external components. Note that in some cases you will have to do some bending.
Decals are printed in Cartograf, so overall quality looks great. You can see all options on the photo below.
Assembly manual is typical for this brand. I show all pages in the video-review.
New Sd.Kfz.234/1 should be already available for purchase. In my opinion it is an interesting offering for modelers who would like to build this vehicle with less internal components. Yes, you still have to work on turret and fighting compartment, but this can be more attractive for some. Overall quality looks great out of the box, so you just need to carefully get everything together.
